Once we have loaded a new property for you, we will ask you to do a few tasks to review and configure before we push the property live.


Felix:

  • Firstly, we always suggest you complete a quick audit of the property in Felix.
  • Check the booking engine page to ensure the descriptions and images are as expected.
  • Check the calendar to ensure rates and minimum stays are as expected (these are pushed from Pricelabs, so if anything looks out of sorts, let us know).
  • Finally, please ensure you've added in any known black out dates (in Felix) or owner bookings (in Operto).

Duve:

  • Tags - you will need to go to the Rentals page, open the relevant property and enter any tags that are relevant for this property.
  • WIFI & Access Codes - if you didn't provide when you originally sent us the data on your new property, ensure these details are entered on the Rentals page before your first guest.
  • Check-in Instructions - you will need to create a guidebook post for check-in instructions for the property. We have created these videos to help show you how to do this. You may want to clone one of your existing posts for another property and edit it to ensure you have the correct settings. You need to make sure the advanced settings are correct (located at the bottom of the post editing area):
    • Add to arrival email: Ensure the post is added to the arrival email.
    • Time restrictions: Show post only after codes are released.
    • Add shortcut: Show post also in 'Arrival info' & 'Access Codes'.
  • Guidebook Posts - try to load as many guidebook posts as possible for the property, with instructions on using appliances - remember, the greater detail you provide here, the less questions you will get form guests that need to be answered.

Operto Teams:


Go to Setup > Properties, locate the new property and click on the pencil icon to edit the property details:

  • Check that all the settings in the first three sections are correct (add any dashboard notes you want) and if you are using the linen functionality in OTA+, be sure to enter the standard linen count for the property.
  • In the Staff Permissions section, ensure everyone who should have access to the property does have access to the property.
  • In the Assign Task Rules to this Property section at the bottom, add and assign any relevant task rules
  • Save your changes

OTA+ (not required if you are a trust accounting managed service client, as we do this for you):

  • Load the property into OTA+, add owner details, link management fees and edit to correct %.
  • When ready, invite owner to their OTA+ dashboard.
