You can split the management fees in OTA+ and Owners report shows a single agreed amount.


Example: Decide on the Commission being paid say 10% from a total of 22% agreed commission with the owner:

  1. Create a Holding Account where you will collect the Commission.

  2. Make sure the properties this affects has a Property Specific Management if does not then link the Global to the properties affected,
    1. Reduce the Management so the combo of the Linked Management Fee and the Linked Commission Management Fee = 22%
      1. In this example we would link the existing Management Fee to the property (if it is not done so already)
      2. And change the Management Fee Percent to 12%
      3. DO NOT!!! Tick on 'Link to Management Fee' on the main Management Fee!!!

  3. Create the new Global Fee for the Commission
    1. Fee Name: 'Fred Bloggs Commission 8%
    2. Fee Type: Must be 'Property Linking Fee only' this protects you so it cannot be applied to anything else except a specific property!
    3. Fee Auto or Manual: Auto
    4. Fee Paid to: Property Manager
    5. Link to Management Fee': Must be ticked on !!!!
    6. Disbursement Action: Journal to the Holding Account created in Step #1
    7. DO NOT FORGET to link this fee only to the properties that you have agreed to give commission on those bookings.

The owners Report will show a management fee of 22% and 10% will be split off and auto journalled to the new Holding Account ready for payment of the commission at the end of the month!
